Discovery @ 4am: UDP=Universally Delicious Paratha

OH k .. so this is another early morning posts thanks to waking up all night! The keywords for this post should be:

  • a cold aloo paratha,
  • the track 'Tu Hi Re' from the movie Bombay,
  • CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) !!
  • Test 1 blues
Thanks to the newly started night canteen in our campus, we get these amazing aloo parathas right upto 1am.. and then you can get them parceled for early morning food cravings (like the one I narrowly escaped today). The track 'Tu hi re' was one I listened after ages .. and thought it had a soothing and 'sleepy' note to it ( yes, a slightly sleepy song when you're trying hard to stay up all night and finish the syllabus or the course in which you know you've slept and absolutely all the classes) , listening to it was good!

After long sessions of reading the Computer Networks textbook and going through
  • UDP-Universally Delicious Paratha,
  • TCP/IP- Tasty Cauliflower Paratha / Incredibly great Paratha,
  • PPP-  Peer to Peer Paratha,
  • LCP - Lettuce and Carrot Paratha, and
  • ADP- Another Delicious Paratha....
I finally came to CRC which stands for 'Cyclic Redundancy Check' and its an error detecting code in which redundant data is added to the bitstream to check for errors on the receiver's side.... alright alright .. i'm not continuing on this .. but yeah, this was the section i was reading when I drifted off to writing this post. It doesn't end with a 'P' .. else i'd have made it .. "Cold (but) Relishing Paratha" !!
